“…remember that you are braver than you believe, stronger than you appear, and smarter than you think…”
~Christopher Robin to his dear friend, Pooh

Welcome to Mrs. Hunzelman's web-page!  I am the K-8 School Counselor at Hebron Schools.  My time is shared between the Elementary and Middle School buildings and I spend time at each of these sites for a portion of each school day.  I can be reached by calling (219) 996-4771, extension 129.  Or, you can also call any office in the corporation and they can transfer your call to me.  I can also be contacted via e-mail:  [email protected]

I have been in the field of Education since 1986.  I earned my degree in Elementary Education from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, and began my career as a 6th grade teacher in my home town of West Union, Iowa.  After several years as a classroom teacher, I entered Graduate School at the University of Iowa and earned my Masters of Arts degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in School Counseling in 1993.  Since that time, I have worked as an Elementary and Middle School counselor in Iowa, Tennessee, and have been at Hebron Schools since 2000 (go Hawks!).
